Research
My research focuses on exploring the financial challenges and opportunities faced by underrepresented entrepreneurs, particularly women, immigrants, and first-generation founders in the United States.
I aim to investigate and tackle the barriers to startup funding, including access to capital through traditional and alternative means, such as SBA loans and diversity-focused programs.
Additionally, I am interested in the role of financial literacy, mentorship, and resource networks in empowering these entrepreneurs to overcome obstacles and succeed in the startup ecosystem.
My research focuses on:
Financial literacy for entrepreneurs
Barriers to startup funding
Diversity in startup financing
Mentorship for underrepresented founders
SBA loans and minority support programs
